HB24-1085 Passes the Business Affairs & Labor Committee

Today was the day for testimony at the Colorado Capital for the Limitation on Actions against Appraisers Bill (HB24-1085) and it passed the Committee vote with 7 yes and 4 no votes. Thank you everyone for your help and support. It made a difference. A special thanks goes to the RMAA members who gave testimony: Maggie Moxley, Lou Garone, JoAnn Apostol, Amy Girsch, and Jeovani Gaytan. Next, our bill goes to the full House of Representatives where it is read and then voted on by each member of the House of Representatives. Our lobbyist, Lacey Hays, will be working closely with the members of the House to garnish as many votes as possible.
